About International Market Place

  • International Market Place opened August 25, 2016, extending the Kalakaua shopping experience with an inviting open-air design and a lush Hawaiian sense of place that features a fire tower, a three-story water wall, an interactive entertainment stage, as well as a tree house in an enormous Indian banyan tree, planted circa 1850.
  • The center is anchored by Saks Fifth Avenue, the only luxury department store in Waikiki and the Grand Lanai, which provides al fresco dining at nine chef-driven and unique restaurants, including Baku Japanese Robata Bar, Eating House 1849 by Roy Yamaguchi, Flour & Barley, Goma Tei Ramen, Herringbone and Yauatcha from the Hakkasan Group, Kona Grill and Stripsteak by Michael Mina.
