Our Specialty Leasing program is a powerful incubator of promising new ideas, giving local entrepreneurs the opportunity to bring emerging retail concepts to life in our centers.
Specialty agreements, with more flexible agreement terms, allow licensees to lease on a short-term basis, while enjoying the same level and quality of customer traffic delivered to permanent tenants in Taubman centers. Specialty licensees choose to participate for weeks, seasonally or year-round, operating in formats that range from Retail Merchandising Units (RMUs) and Kiosks to Temporary In-Line Stores (TILs).
Many retailers debuting as specialty licensees become permanent stores in our centers, and our Specialty Leasing team is available to provide responsive merchandising, design and business support.
