Ben Meeker
Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Ben Meeker is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer. He is responsible for Taubman’s financial functions and reports to Taubman Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Taubman.

Prior to his promotion in January 2021, Ben most recently served as Vice President, Capital Markets and Treasurer. In this role, he was responsible for capital markets (transactions, including financings, acquisitions and dispositions), as well as treasury, risk management, partner relations and financial planning & analysis.

Before joining Taubman in 2012, Ben was Vice President, Fund & Development for The John Buck Company, and previously worked as a Senior Acquisitions Analyst for Miller Capital Advisory, Inc.

Ben is an active member of the community, serving as a member of the Finance and Budget Committee for the Cranbrook Educational Community, a trustee of the Michigan Opera Theatre and a volunteer for Life Remodeled and Gleaners Community Food Bank. He is a graduate of the ULI Larson Center for Leadership and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Ben earned an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, where he graduated with distinction and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma honor society. Ben received a BA magna cum laude from Amherst College and studied abroad at Georgetown University in Italy. He resides in Bloomfield Hills with his wife, a physician, and their two children.
