Denise A. Anton
Executive Vice President, Center Operations
Denise Anton oversees operations for Taubman retail properties, leading the functions of center and central operations, marketing, sponsorship, tenant coordination and information technology. She is a member of the company’s Operating Committee. Denise joined Taubman in 1988 as director of advertising, served as vice president and then as senior vice president of center operations before assuming her present position in 2015.
Before joining Taubman, Denise was executive vice president of Anton’s Men’s Apparel before Hart Marx purchased the company in 1988.
Denise is a senior trustee of the Cranbrook Educational Community and is a Governor Emeritus of the board of governors for the Cranbrook Art Academy and Museum as well as for Cranbrook Schools. She is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Detroit Institute of Arts. A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Kalamazoo College, she studied abroad at Université de Clermont Ferrand in France, La Universidad de Salamanca in Spain and Phillips Exeter Academy’s School Year Abroad in Barcelona. She also completed a teaching internship in Santa Ana, El Salvador.
